- Judge of the 4th Judicial Circuit Court of Virginia, presiding over the City of Norfolk, and has served in this role since September 1, 2021
- 2015–2021: Judge, 4th Judicial District Court of Virginia
- 2005–2015: Assistant City Attorney, Norfolk City Attorney’s Office (10 years)

### Additional information

- In July 2022, she dismissed all charges with prejudice against defendant Ahmad Raheem Watson, preventing any re‐filing of those charges.
- Judge Scott presided over the 2011 ODU murder case involving Christopher Cummings, nephew of late Baltimore Congressman Elijah Cummings.
