## Biography

### Professional career

- Despite the suspension and reprimand, Judge Gundy remains on the Municipal Court bench and is listed as a candidate for the November 4, 2025 Atlanta Municipal Court Judge election
- In August 2022, the Georgia Supreme Court ordered Judge Gundy to be suspended without pay for 90 days and publicly reprimanded after the Judicial Qualifications Commission (JQC) found she was chronically late and absent from court
- Municipal Court of Atlanta judge appointed in 2013, presiding over the DUI division, who in 2022 was suspended for 90 days and publicly reprimanded by the Georgia Supreme Court for chronic tardiness and absenteeism
- The court accepted a settlement between the JQC and Judge Gundy, which resolved formal charges without a public trial
- Before joining the bench, she worked as a state and local tax associate at KPMG and Cox Communications, practiced law in real estate, business transactions, and public law, and held the role of an adjunct professor at John Marshall Law School
