### Professional career

- Thomas Jennings Bailey (1867 – 1963) was an American judge who served as Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the District of Columbia — the predecessor to the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia — for over 45 years

### Education

- Georgetown University Law School — LL.B. (1899)
- Vanderbilt University Law School — LL.B. (1890)
- A.B. (1884) and A.M. (1885) — Southwestern Presbyterian University (now Rhodes College), Nashville, TN
