- She holds a B.S. in Education from UMass Boston (1999) and a J.D. from Suffolk University Law School (2004), admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in 2005 and to the Massachusetts Bankruptcy Courts in 2010

### Additional information

- The Governor’s Council held a public hearing on January 15, 2025, and the Council voted to confirm her appointment on January 22, 2025
- Tiffanie C. Ellis‐Niles is an Associate Justice of the Massachusetts Juvenile Court, nominated by Governor Maura Healey in December 2024 and confirmed by the Governor’s Council in January 2025
- Governor Healey nominated Ellis‐Niles alongside Karin Wilinski to the Juvenile Court in December 2024.
- Ellis‐Niles was named a Massachusetts Rising Star by Lawyers Weekly Super Lawyers and completed studies at the Initiative for Diversity in Civic Leadership in 2010
- Before joining the Juvenile Court, Ellis‐Niles was a founding partner and managing attorney at Lyles and Niles, LLP, a South Shore Massachusetts law firm.
