### Professional career

- Tom Lambeth, full name David Thomas Lambeth Jr., is a North Carolina Superior Court judge who served in Judicial District 15A of the 3rd Division from 2017 until his retirement on October 1, 2024
- He had previously held the role of a district court judge for the 15A Judicial District from 2007 to 2017
- Longtime Alamance County judge with a career spanning over 30 years in law, rising from private practice to district court and then superior court

- In August 2024, Lambeth announced he would retire early, on October 1, 2024, more than two years ahead of his scheduled term end in 2026.
