### Professional career

- “Trea” Pipkin III was selected as the 91st judge of the Georgia Court of Appeals on April 10, 2020, by Governor Brian Kemp and was subsequently elected statewide in 2022
- Prior to this role, he held the role of a Superior Court Judge for the Flint Judicial Circuit, which includes Henry County, after being appointed in January 2018 by Governor Nathan Deal.
- In the summer of 2012, Judge Pipkin began serving as Solicitor-General of Henry County after being appointed to that post to fill the vacancy left by his predecessor.
- He has also held the role of an adjunct professor, teaching criminal law courses at Gordon State College, Mercer University, and Emory University School of Law
- Prior to his appointment, Judge Pipkin served as a Superior Court Judge for the Flint Judicial Circuit, which includes all of Henry County.
