- Nonpartisan Associate Justice of the Massachusetts Appeals Court, appointed in 2006 by Governor Mitt Romney, with a career spanning public prosecution, appellate law, and legal counsel roles
- 1992–2000: Assistant Attorney General, Appellate Division, Criminal Bureau
