Methodology and sources
These are proceeding outcomes, not asylum application statistics. Completion years use EOIR COMP_DATE; 2026 contains partial-year data. Relief granted, denied / removal ordered and other / procedural exhaust the recorded outcomes. Groups of one are included. Historical outcomes do not establish a current assignment. Counts describe recorded cases and do not predict an individual's result.

Visitor information
Hearing instructions
EOIR lists Internet-based hearing links and telephonic access codes in its current hearing directory. The hearing notice and current EOIR instructions control whether a particular hearing is remote or in person. Unrepresented respondents generally appear in person unless EOIR directs otherwise.
Building access and security
All visitors to the immigration court must undergo security screening through a magnetometer and personal items are X-rayed each time they visit the immigration court. Secondary inspection may be required for those who do not pass the primary inspection. The secondary inspection does include enhanced screening (wanding) of the visitor and the X-ray of the visitor’s shoes. As this is a commercial building, we have security screening on all three floors. Elevator access to the immigration courts begins at 8 a.m. and ends at 5 p.m. No visitors are permitted on our floors once security has left for the day.
Security information: All visitors to the immigration court must undergo a security screening through a metal detector machine as well as a handbag screening each time they visit the immigration court. Shoes may be required to be removed. Food and drinks are not allowed, except as specifically permitted by the immigration judge. Usage of cameras or recording devices in courtrooms or other EOIR space is prohibited. Note, however, that attorneys or accredited representatives of record and DHS attorneys representing the government in proceedings before EOIR are permitted to use electronic devices in EOIR courtrooms for the limited purpose of conducting immediately relevant court and business-related activities (e.g. scheduling).
Parking and public transit
There is parking onsite at the Annandale Immigration Court. The Court has parking accessible on the surface (both 2-hour time limited spaces and unlimited spaces), as well as a parking garage. All parking is currently free of charge.
