The City of Portland governs the street parking in downtown Portland by parking meters that accept both coins and credit cards. Street parking is limited. There are several parking garages within a few blocks of the Court’s location.

All visitors to the Edith Green / Wendell Wyatt Federal building must undergo a security screening in the building lobby area. All items will pass through an x-ray machine and are subject to manual inspection if deemed necessary. Visitors will pass through a metal detector machine and are subject to additional screening if deemed necessary. Security Procedures All persons wishing to access the facility will be required to provide U.S. government or state identification, or a PIV agency card. All visitors to the immigration court must undergo a security screening through a metal detector machine as well as a handbag screening each time they visit the immigration court. Phones and electronic devices must be silenced in the court lobby. Phones and other wireless devices should be turned off before entering courtrooms. Security officers may inspect electronic equipment and conduct additional screening if deemed necessary or instructed to do so by the court. Visitors must not bring any cameras, video or recording equipment. Any materials or object of any kind that could be used as a weapon are prohibited.
