El Paso civil litigants must prepare an electronic copy of admitted trial exhibits for the court reporter. They must also provide both a hard copy and an editable electronic version of the proposed jury charge, including reasonably anticipated special issues or requested instructions.

Parties shall prepare an electronic copy of admitted trial exhibits which are to be provided to the court reporter for preparation of the reporter's record.

Before an El Paso civil hearing, parties must timely provide the court with motions, responses, replies, and pertinent supporting documents by hand delivery or email according to the assigned court's preference. Non-jury settings must be arranged through the court coordinator.

Parties shall timely provide directly to the court, either by hand delivery or email, based on the court's preference, a copy of motions, responses, replies, and pertinent supporting documents before the hearing.

In civil district and county court proceedings, the court may permit or require electronic participation after appropriate notice; compelled electronic participation for oral-testimony proceedings requires good cause or party agreement, and a jury trial requires party agreement.

Upon appropriate notice by a party or the court, a court may allow or require a participant to appear at a court proceeding by videoconference, teleconference, or other available electronic means, except as otherwise provided in (2).

Civil district and county trial courts may permit courtroom recording or broadcasting only under Supreme Court guidelines, with the required party and witness consent, or for ceremonial proceedings.

A trial court may permit broadcasting, televising, recording, or photographing of proceedings in the courtroom only in the following circumstances:
