James K. Glober

James K. Glober was appointed as an immigration judge to begin hearing cases in May 2026. Judge Glober earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1982 from the University of Texas at Austin and a Juris Doctor in 1986 from Tulane University School of Law. From November 2025 to April 2026, he served as counsel with the Office of the Principal Legal Advisor, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Department of Homeland Security, in West Valley City, Utah. From December 2000 to November 2025, he practiced civil and criminal litigation in state and federal courts with his firm based in Jacksonville, Florida. Previously, he was managing lawyer for GEICO’s Staff Counsel Office in Jacksonville, Florida, and served as an assistant state attorney in the 13th Judicial Circuit in Tampa, Florida. Judge Glober is a member of the Florida Bar.
