Jennifer L. Mazza

Jennifer L. Mazza was appointed as an immigration judge to begin hearing cases in February 2026. Judge Mazza earned a Bachelor of Arts in 2014 from the California State University at Bakersfield and a Juris Doctor in 2016 from Arizona Summit Law School. From October 2023 to January 2026, she served as an assistant chief counsel with the Office of the Principal Legal Advisor, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Department of Homeland Security, in San Antonio, Texas. From July 2017 to October 2023, she served as an assistant district attorney with the state of Texas. Additionally, in 2021, she joined the U.S. Air Force Reserve, where she continues to work as a judge advocate. Judge Mazza is a member of the State Bar of Texas.
