Professional career
- He has served on the Haven House Board of Directors and on the Speedway Children’s Charity Board of Directors at Atlanta Motor Speedway; he is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Henry County Bar Association, and a former Rotarian.
- And he was elected by the District Attorneys and Solicitors-General of this State to serve as Vice-Chair of the Prosecuting Attorney’s Council, which assist with the training and legislative agendas for prosecutors in Georgia.
- While Solicitor-General, Judge Pipkin was elected by his peers to serve on the Executive Council for the Solicitors-General Association of Georgia.
- In the summer of 2012, Judge Pipkin began serving as Solicitor-General of Henry County after being appointed to that post to fill the vacancy left by his predecessor.
- Judge Pipkin served for seven years as an Assistant District Attorney for the Flint Judicial Circuit, where he prosecuted numerous felony cases.
- He was appointed to his seat in January of 2018 by Governor Nathan Deal.
- Prior to his appointment, Judge Pipkin served as a Superior Court Judge for the Flint Judicial Circuit, which includes all of Henry County.
