Kiley R. Hyatt

Kiley R. Hyatt was appointed as a temporary immigration judge to begin hearing cases in May 2026. Judge Hyatt earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Philosophy in 2001 from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, a Juris Doctor in 2004 from the University Hawai’i at Manoa-William S. Richardson School of Law, and a Master in Strategic Studies in 2021 from the U.S. Army War College. From November 2015 to April 2026, in her civilian capacity, she served as a partner at Einwechter & Hyatt, Hawai’i. From January 2004 until April 2026, in her military capacity, she served as a commander, staff judge advocate, chief of military law, physical evaluation board counsel, brigade judge advocate, senior defense counsel and as a trial defense counsel in various locations. Judge Hyatt holds the rank of colonel in the U.S. Army. Judge Hyatt is a member of the Hawai’i State Bar.
