Kyle Myers

Kyle Myers was appointed as an immigration judge to begin hearing cases in March 2026. Judge Myers earned a Bachelor of Arts in 2001 from Texas Tech University and a Juris Doctor in 2006 from the University of Houston Law Center. From September 2014 to February 2026, he served as an assistant U.S. attorney in the El Paso Division of the Western District of Texas. From January 2007 to September 2014, he served as an assistant district attorney for the 34th Judicial District Attorney’s Office. In 2023, Judge Myers received the Executive Office for the United States Attorneys Director’s Award for Superior Performance by a Litigation Team. In 2026, for his work with Joint Task Force Alpha, Judge Myers received a Criminal Division AAG Award for the Advancement of Public Safety. Judge Myers is a member of the State Bar of Texas.
