Melynda Leigh LaBrosse

Melynda Leigh LaBrosse was appointed as an immigration judge to begin hearing cases in June 2026. Judge LaBrosse earned a Bachelor of Arts in 2008 from the University of New Orleans and a Juris Doctor in 2013 from Loyola University New Orleans. From October 2013 through May 2026, she served as the senior staff attorney in the Covington District Office of the Office of Administrative Law Judges for the U.S. Department of Labor in Covington, Louisiana. Judge LaBrosse is a member of the Louisiana State Bar.
