Professional career

• More recently, she practiced as a criminal defense attorney for Taylor Lee and Associates
• Sworn in on May 28 and became the first female Asian American to serve in this role, as well as the second Korean American Recorder’s Court judge in the county
• She also held the role of a solicitor for Suwanee Municipal Court

• Mihae Park, a Norcross-based attorney, was appointed by the six-member Gwinnett State Court to fill the unexpired term of Recorder’s Court Judge Michael Greene, who retired on April 30, 2023, with the term ending December 31, 2023.
• Park earned her law degree from the University of Florida in 1988 and began her legal career in the Gwinnett Solicitor’s Office, where she worked for over 10 years handling more than 60 hearings, including jury and bench trials, motions, and appeals.

• Certified to argue before the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Georgia Supreme Court, and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.

• Park is a member of the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys and has been actively involved in the Gwinnett County Bar Association, serving as co-chair for Law Enforcement Appreciation Day
