From 2014 through 2022, Chadwick served as judge of probate for East Hartford’s District 5. Connecticut election records show that he won the District 5 probate election in 2014 and was reelected without opposition in 2018. When Governor Ned Lamont nominated him to the Superior Court in April 2022, the Governor’s Office identified him as the East Hartford probate judge and a partner at Ford & Paulekas LLP whose practice focused on civil litigation.
Chadwick earned an undergraduate degree from Western New England University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Connecticut School of Law. UConn Law identifies him as a member of its class of 1987.
Chadwick also served as corporation counsel for the Town of East Hartford. In November 2021, the town announced that he was leaving that position to devote more time to private practice.
