Wayne J. Warf

Wayne J. Warf was appointed as an immigration judge to begin hearing cases in May 2026. Judge Warf earned a Bachelor of Science in 1984 and a Master of Business Administration in 1988 from St. Joseph’s University, and a Doctor of Jurisprudence in 2002 from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law. From January 2020 to January 2026, he served as a senior attorney at the Indiana Department of Child Services in Indianapolis. From October 2016 to December 2019, he was in private practice in Carmel, Indiana. From February 2007 to September 2016, he served as an administrative law judge at the Indiana Department of Workforce Development in Indianapolis. He also served as congressional legislative counsel for the Honorable Mike Sodrel from January 2005 to July 2006 in Washington, D.C. From November 2002 to December 2004, he was in private practice in Bloomington, Indiana. Judge Warf is a member of the Indiana State Bar, the bars of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, U.S. Court for the Southern District of Indiana, U.S. Court for the Northern District of Indiana, U.S. Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, U.S. Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces.
